Ahhh...after a long break and vacation abroad, here I am again back in real life. I bought few crochet hooks with different sizes. And now I'm on a new project- I still use an old tv on a hanging tv table so I'm doing something for that hanging table like some sort of cover. The new crochet hooks that I bought are not the steel ones unlike my old steel crochet hooks. I noticed the steel one performs better as it's smoother to use. In short I would advice using the steel hooks rather than the other types.
